Terms of Use

Effective 27 May 2026

Placeholder Terms of Use for the Company Alumni Network. Replace with counsel-reviewed copy before opening the platform to a real audience.

1. Who can use the network

The platform is for current and former employees of the deploying organisation. Accounts are created by invite. You must use accurate information and may not share access credentials.

2. What you can post

  • Profile content describing your professional history and skills.
  • Stories submitted via the “Pitch a story” flow — subject to editorial review.
  • Survey responses, job applications, and service tickets.

You may not post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, infringes copyright, or violates confidentiality obligations to a current or past employer. We may remove content that does.

3. Account security

Pick a strong password (we enforce a minimum of 8 characters). If you suspect your account is compromised, change your password immediately via the forgot-password flow and contact the alumni team.

4. Service availability

The platform is offered on a best-effort basis without uptime guarantees. We may take it offline for maintenance or upgrades with reasonable notice where practical.

5. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your profile page. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms; we'll explain why where possible.

6. Liability & indemnity

The platform is provided “as is”. The deploying organisation is not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the platform, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Updates

We may update these terms; material changes will trigger a notice the next time you sign in. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
